Building Blocks of Science

Alarko Holding sponsored the Building Blocks of Science Project, conducted in cooperation with the Bilim School and ÇYDD, and supported STEM education for children at the secondary school level. Building Blocks of Science is an educational program designed for 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th graders from socioeconomically disadvantaged groups, aiming not only to provide information but also to teach students how to access and use knowledge. Students participate in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), Thinking Skills, Philosophy, Mathematics by Periods, Drama, and Games training for a total of 12 weeks as part of the project. Students' growth is supported by allowing them to acquire science-based and analytical thinking abilities from a holistic standpoint. The Building Blocks of Science program seeks to develop individuals capable of generating new perspectives, creating the world of the future, and shaping the future by opening the doors to artificial intelligence.
