Pioneers of Entrepreneurship

The Pioneers of Entrepreneurship Project, launched in 2023 in partnership with Alarko Holding and the Habitat Association to contribute to women’s entrepreneurship and support female employment, continues its training activities in the 2024 term.

In 2024, the first field training sessions of the Pioneers of Entrepreneurship Project, which saw participation from 1,373 aspiring and active women entrepreneurs from 66 provinces, were successfully completed. Face-to-face training sessions were held in Hakkari, Gaziantep, Kayseri, and Aydın.

The first training session took place in Kayseri, hosted by the S.S. Women's Farmers Ecological Education and Production Center Cooperative, with the participation of representatives from three women’s cooperatives.

The second stop of the field training was in Hakkari, in collaboration with Yüksekova Demeter Agricultural Development Women's Cooperative, the first women’s cooperative in Hakkari, and participants from Hakkari city center and the districts of Çukurca, Şemdinli, and Yüksekova.

As part of the project, a Digital Marketing training session, which is included in the Pioneers of Entrepreneurship Project curriculum, was conducted to help women entrepreneurs market their products on online marketplaces, increase their digital visibility, and strengthen their digital capabilities. Information was also shared about the grant program that will take place during the year.

The Pioneers of Entrepreneurship Project, which includes training modules on Canva, Design Thinking, Financial Literacy for Entrepreneurs, Branding, Entrepreneurship, Digital Marketing, and E-commerce, has provided free capacity-building training support to over 1,000 women since 2023. Additionally, the project supports women entrepreneurs financially and in-kind through the "Pioneers of Entrepreneurship" and "Pioneers of Production" grant programs.
