Alarko Carrier exports chiefly roof-top air-conditioners, oil burners and panel radiators to China, a country with a reputation as an exporter of cheap goods to the entire world, and recently received new orders from heavy work machinery manufacturer Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industry Co. Ltd.

Alarko Carrier is adding a new link in its chain of exports to China that began at the end of the 1990s. The company has received a 24-piece order from the heavy work machinery manufacturer Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industry Co. Ltd. (ZPMC) for twelve 50UA065 model roof-top air-conditioners and 6x2 units of the 53NQV025 - 53NQV035 model split air-conditioner.

Alarko Carrier exports primarily roof-top air-conditioners, oil burners and panel radiators to China, a country known for its exports of cheep goods worldwide. To date, the company has received 157 orders from China and exported goods worth $2 million 65 thousand. Alarko Carrier, which is active in Asia, Europe, the Middle East and Africa, exported TL 51 million in goods to 51 countries in 2013. It is rapidly increasing its business in China as well.

Full steam ahead in China
Talking about the company`s operations in China, Alarko Carrier General Manager Önder Şahin said, "Alarko Carrier aims at increasing its exports to regions interested in our products. Accordingly, we have intensified our efforts in China, which, like other Asian countries, is rapidly growing economically. The demand for high-tech, energy-saving equipment among the radiators and combi equipment we export to China is an optimistic sign of our future relations with the country.”

Leading exporter of air-conditioners
Alarko Carrier, which derives 13% of its turnover from exports, continued to be a solution partner of large projects in 2014. In addition to the countries of the Middle East, it exports to countries like Russia, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Angola, New Zealand and Australia. Alarko Carrier received first prize for its export performance in the category “Company Exporting the Greatest Number of Air-Conditioning Plants in 2013” from the Air-Conditioning Exporters Association (İSİB).
