ALARKO AND GOTION’S YOUNG PROFESSIONALS MEET IN ISTANBUL

Alarko Holding welcomed young professionals visiting Istanbul as part of Gotion Group’s Young Talents Program to its Head Office. Gotion Group is one of the world’s leading companies in energy storage and battery technologies. Attended by Alarko Board Members and senior executives, the gathering provided an opportunity for teams from both companies to exchange knowledge and experience, while offering participants a closer look at Alarko’s operations and approach to sustainability.

Continuing its investments with the vision of becoming a key player in Türkiye’s green transformation, Alarko Holding recently entered into a strategic partnership with Gotion Group, one of the world’s leading technology and battery manufacturers, establishing Alarko Gotion Green Energy. Created with the aim of developing and manufacturing energy storage and battery technologies in Türkiye, the partnership also provides a platform for the mutual exchange and development of knowledge, experience and capabilities between the two companies.

As the global energy transition accelerates, the need is growing not only for innovative and sustainable technologies, but also for qualified talent capable of developing these technologies and carrying them into the future. With this perspective, Alarko Holding welcomed young professionals visiting Istanbul as part of Gotion Group’s Young Talents Program to its Head Office. Bringing together emerging young leaders from Gotion and Alarko, the event provided a platform to exchange views on the future of energy storage and battery technologies, as well as the capabilities required to drive transformation in this field.

The event opened with remarks by Alarko Group of Companies CEO Ümit N. Yıldız. As part of the program, Altek Alarko General Manager Hakan Aytekin and Alarko Gotion Green Energy General Manager Nihat Aksüt provided insights into Alarko’s activities in the energy sector and the objectives of the joint venture. Gotion Türkiye General Manager Haolin Li shared insights into Gotion Group’s global operations, technology approach and vision for the future of energy. The event also introduced the work of the Alarko Future’s Club, which has been active within the company since 1985 with the aim of supporting the professional and personal development of Alarko’s young employees, highlighting the key role young people play in shaping the future of organizations.

In the second part of the program, Chairman of the Board İzzet Garih and Board Member Leyla Alaton met with the young professionals for an insightful discussion on leadership, corporate culture, the vision for the future and the role of the new generation in the business world, followed by a Q&A session.

Throughout the program, the young professionals had the opportunity to share their experiences and get to know one another better, while building new connections that will further strengthen the ties between the two organizations.
