Alarko Published Its 2025 GRI Report in a Sustainability Dictionary Format

Alarko Holding has published its 2025 GRI-Compliant Sustainability Report, presenting its environmental, social and governance (ESG) performance.

 Prepared with an approach of leaving a responsible mark for the future, the report stands out with its strengthened data infrastructure, impact-focused perspective and low-carbon design. Designed in a glossary format, the report presents Alarko’s sustainability performance alongside definitions of key concepts. It also includes a comprehensive sustainability glossary in its appendix, making the growing terminology in this field more accessible and contributing to the development of a common language of impact.

Alarko Holding has published its 2025 GRI-Compliant Sustainability Report, transparently presenting its economic, environmental and social performance across different sectors. As with the TSRS-compliant Sustainability Report published in August, the report was developed with a responsible design approach to minimize its environmental footprint, providing a holistic view of the sustainability performance of the Alarko Group of Companies.

The report provides a comprehensive overview of the metrics reflecting Alarko’s Joint Impact approach, bringing its sustainability vision to life across its group companies through shared goals and a shared sense of responsibility. Good practice examples were further developed to reflect this holistic approach.

As in the previous year, data assured under TSRS and included in the GRI report were supported by an assurance statement, helping to strengthen the reliability and transparency of the reporting.

This Year's Innovations: Double Materiality Assesment and Sustainability Glossary

In the 2025 reporting period, Alarko Holding aligned its approach to determining sustainability priorities with the European Union Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and carried out a Double Materiality Assessment (DMA) for the first time. In this report, sustainability issues were evaluated together with both Alarko's impacts on the environment and society and the potential implications of these issues on the company's financial performance and long-term value creation capacity.

With a diverse portfolio of group companies, Alarko Holding prepared its 2025 GRI-compliant report in a glossary format in order to establish a common conceptual ground for the clear understanding of sustainability goals, transformation areas and performance indicators. Throughout the report, terms related to Alarko’s sustainability efforts are presented alongside their definitions, with a comprehensive glossary of current sustainability terminology included at the end.

Low-Carbon Reporting Through Responsible Design

Alarko continued its low-carbon reporting approach this year, building on the responsible design practices introduced last year and recognized with design awards on prestigious platforms. As the first holding company in Türkiye to publish a responsible communication policy, Alarko also approached the report's design from a resource -conscious approach to the report’s design to minimize its environmental footprint.

Recognizing that every visual, color, graphic element and piece of data in a digital environment creates an unseen demand on resources, photographs were excluded from the design. Graphic elements were optimized, texts were shortened and page structures were simplified. A limited color palette, a single icon language and a plain typographic layout were preferred with the aim of reducing file size and reading time.
