Alarko MBA and Yenibirlider Programs Celebrate New Graduates

The Alarko Signature for the Leaders of Tomorrow:

With 72 years of deep-rooted institutional experience, Alarko Holding continues to pass on the lifelong learning vision it inherited from its founders to new generations through structured education and development programs. Believing that effective support for a sustainable economy and institutional continuity is only possible with a competent workforce, Alarko launched the Alarko MBA Program in 2010, which it has been running in cooperation with Bahçeşehir University since 2013; the program has welcomed the graduates of its sixth cohort.. At the graduation ceremony held for the occasion, young professionals who successfully completed the Yenibirlider Development Program also received their certificates.

The graduation ceremony of the Alarko MBA Program,Türkiye’s first corporate MBA initiative,was held. A reflection of Alarko's corporate culture, which prioritizes investing in qualified human resources and supporting employee development, 25 employees graduated from the program this year.

 At the same graduation ceremony, 7 employees who completed the Yenibirlider Development Program also received their certificates.

The graduation ceremony of the programs, which play a key role in passing on Alarko's culture of learning, leadership and continuous development to future generations, was attended by İzzet Garih, Alarko Holding Chairman of the Board,  Vedat Alaton, Vice Chairman of the Board, Niv Garih, Board Member of Alarko Holding and Chairman of the Board of Alarko Carrier,  Ümit N. Yıldız, Alarko Group of Companies CEO, Prof. Dr. Yücel Batu Salman, Director of the Bahçeşehir University Graduate School, and Özge Aslan, General Manager of the Yenibirlider Association.

Launched in 2010, the Alarko MBA Program was designed with the vision of was designed to develop future leaders from within the organization.The leaders who will carry the corporate culture and values into the future. To date, 186 employees have graduated from the program, which is run in cooperation with Bahçeşehir University. In addition to comprehensive training in areas such as strategic management, leadership, finance, marketing, innovation, digital transformation and sustainability, the program also aims to strengthen participants' management capabilities.The alumni network, one of the program's most important achievements and one that has grown stronger over the years, supports the sharing of experience and internal collaboration among graduates from different cohorts while also contributing to a culture of continuous learning.

The Yenibirlider Development Program, which aims to nurture Alarko's young talents as the leaders of the future, offers participants a comprehensive development experience in leadership, technology, innovation and strategic transformation in the age of artificial intelligence. To date, 78 Alarko employees have successfully completed the program, which prepares young professionals for both today's and tomorrow's business world through face-to-face and online training.

Sharing his assessment of the graduation ceremony, Alarko Group of Companies CEO Ümit N. Yıldız said: “At Alarko, we place young people at the very center of organizational transformation. We see the Alarko Education Culture Foundation, which we established in 1986, the scholarship programs we have maintained for years, the Alarko Future’s Club which aims to nurture future managers, and the training programs that bring our employees' development up to international standards, as inseparable parts of the same vision. The Alarko MBA Program is a highly valuable link in this investment. We see this program, which we designed to nurture the managers of the future starting today, as a leadership ecosystem where learning, experience and development are intertwined. Since 2010, and strengthened further since 2013 through our cooperation with Bahçeşehir University, 186 colleagues have graduated from this program over 16 years. Likewise, our collaboration with the Yenibirlider Association is extremely valuable to us. This year, 7 of our colleagues successfully completed the 26th term of the Yenibirlider Development Program. Based on the understanding that leadership creates a lasting and meaningful impact on institutions, teams and society, this program is run in cooperation with Boğaziçi University”, he said.

Thanking Bahçeşehir University, the Yenibirlider Association, Boğaziçi University and all colleagues who contributed to this meaningful collaboration, Ümit N. Yıldız concluded his remarks as follows: “We see the diplomas and certificates our young people received today as a strong start to a successful career journey. Generational differences have never been a defining characteristic of Alarko's culture. Because at Alarko, every manager listens to their colleagues, values their contributions, and effectively shares knowledge and experience with them. This democratic culture has been passed down to us from our founders. I recommend that our friends, whose graduation we celebrate here today, see supporting the new generation as one of their most important responsibilities as they take on greater responsibilities and leadership roles  and I wholeheartedly congratulate all our young leaders.”
