Alarko's Positive Impact Green Collar Program Launches a New Term

With sustainability at the heart of its approach, Alarko Holding continues to redefine the future of business practices and corporate resilience while investing in the people who will lead this transformation. Launched in 2024 and with 93 graduates to date, the Positive Impact Program continues to strengthen employees’ sustainability competencies in its new term. Through this program, Alarko aims to build a "green collar" ecosystem equipped to understand the dynamics of green transformation, anticipating risks and opportunities, and leading change within the organization.

Climate crisis risks, the need for the responsible use of natural resources, evolving regulations, opportunities created by technological transformation, and changing societal expectations are reshaping the priorities. Against this backdrop, strengthening the sustainability knowledge and capabilities of the people who will drive this change is becoming increasingly critical.  Launched by Alarko Holding three years ago with this vision, the Positive Impact Program invests in the development of green collar competencies while helping to strengthen a shared sustainability perspective and a culture of collective learning across Alarko Group Companies.

People at the Heart of Alarko’s Sustainable Transformation

With 93 Alarko employees having graduated from the program to date, the Positive Impact Program serves as a development platform that supports Alarko’s sustainability journey. By bringing together employees from across different Group companies, it strengthens interdisciplinary collaboration, supports decision-making, and helps shape ways of working. As the program introduces employees to the rapidly evolving sustainability agenda, it also aims to move sustainability beyond the responsibility of specialist teams and establish it as a shared competency across the organization.

A Program Designed Around the Sustainability Priorities of Tomorrow

This year's Positive Impact Program brings together some of the most current and critical topics shaping the sustainability agenda. Beginning with the "Sustainable Human Relations" module, the program offers participants a holistic perspective spanning corporate reporting standards, the circular economy, responsible communication and green technologies. Webinars and interactive events held throughout the year will also provide participants with the opportunity to assess global trends and explore practices across different sectors.

A Carbon-Neutral Learning Platform Powered by Strong Partnerships

The Positive Impact Program stands out for its multi-stakeholder structure, bringing together the knowledge and experience of organizations across different fields of expertise. The program is enriched by contributions from leading institutions and academics in the field, most notably the Yenibirlider Association. Through these collaborations, participants gain access to academic knowledge in sustainability, current business practices, and perspectives from a range of disciplines. In doing so, the program creates a learning ecosystem that fosters intellectual exchange and encourages the development of new ideas.
